Angel wears white, with earlier costumes showing a sleeveless top tied with a band around the middle, three-quarters length pants and sandals crossed up the leg, reminiscent of an Ancient Greek or Roman style. Angel has a tiara with a gemstone set in the center, from which lasers can be emitted. Angel has blue eyes and blonde hair pulled to the back of the head in a bun. Angel's biography states that when some people looked at Kazuya, some could see Angel and others could see Devil. As Angel was originally a palette swap and direct clone of Devil, and as implied in Angel's Tekken 2 biography, it was thought that Angel was a representation of the good in Kazuya. Angel first appeared without any storyline explanation, save for the fact that Angel fights with Devil over Kazuya's soul.
